I have made this quilt using my embroidery machine.
Its a type of Baltimore quilt, inspired by some work that Jenny
has been doing.

I wanted to use up some fat quarters in lilac, the edging was
used on a quilt for my daughter Kerry, at least 4 years ago.
I liked it so much then so saved some. Now its all gone.
Oh dear!

This is a quarter of Annette's Bargello quilt. She began this
at a workshop with Chris Francis.

This is Irene's silhouette cushion, a kit she bought
from the Sandbach  quilt show earlier this year.

Jenny has  been busy again, sewing  zipper bags,
this one is for Cathy's music stand bracket.
(she is learning to play the ukelele.)

Cathy made this music case today, to match the zipper bag,
production line sewing these days.

Linda has finished another quilt for Donna Louise
lovely for a little boy, full of tractors and traffic signs.

This is a quilt for a newborn baby using fabrics left over from
a previous quilt.

Another of Kate's innovations, appliqued butterflies
complete with embroidered antennae.

These are Jenny's bags , from a Debbie Shaw design ,the
flowery one and the lilac one are lined with shower curtain
fabric. The lilac one is made with faux leather, which
stitched without a problem on normal settings.

Beryl's chopped up blocks, again, a really vibrant quilt.
these are both for Donna Louise hospice,They along with
as many more we can complete before Easter will be gifted
with some Beanie babes that Irene will donate for  us.Everyone
is so generous with the time and gifts many thanks to you all.

This is another block towards a variety of tea cups. A quilt
Irene is sewing with  a Barbara Chainey class.

These are bags for the nursery where Beth is working, to put the
covers into after the little ones have had a nap.I had lots of
printed flannelette donated so it came in use for the teddies.
That is also the name of the nursery

When we started to make the charity quilts we had these tapes
embroidered, I think they just finish our work nicely.

the lining. Requested by North Staffs Carers Association.

Another arty book cover from Beryl filling her journal
with  witty comments, ideas and research.

I didnt crop this as I thought you would see just how large this
bed scarf really is, really cleancut and right upto date, beautiful.
These tree pics are all Margarets.

Two large cushions from the leftover s,really dramatic.

Kate crocheted the bag body at home, lined it with beautiful batik
fabric including pockets and a zipped center division, all
her work is unique.

Marilla is making a kisses quilt, all hand stitched, she's using a
layer cake because the colours are so lovely,I think so too.

Cathy's chuffed to bits today, she started and finished a doggy quilt
all in 1 day. She tried bagging this one, this way she can make
them quicker, as she has lots more to do,all charity work.
Well done you.

Irene loves this fabric on the right so much she was quite tearful
when she cut into it. Eventhough it will make up so well.
