Visitors!!

Well today was a busy day with lots of lovely ladies at the hall, Maureen had popped in to say hello which was lovely, then Annie pie popped in, which was fab! Then as a cherry on the cake Marian came to see us as well!!!! :)

Well back to sewing

Margaret wasn't here today but Annette brought along her fabulous cat quilt which she

 helped her to finish  :)

 



 

Chris is still busy piecing together her lovely William Morris quilt top

Cathy is having fun making a Mini Mouse quilt for her lucky granddaughter :)

 



Kate is still busy working on her fabulous storage boxes :)

 

 

Annette was spread over 3 tables planning her beautiful kaleidoscope quilt :)

Lynda is still working hard quilting her beautiful quilt for her son :)

 



 

This is a Tar Dar!!! for Wendy for her wonderful bag|!!

 

Wendy has also been working hard on these beautiful hearts :)

 

Maggie has been playing with her scrappy quilt :)

 

 

Irene has been working with her batik fabric, wow really love these

colours!!! 

 

Marilla has been busy with her fantastic table runner :)

 

 

And me well I made a sewing machine rug/tool organiser :)

Cake!!!!

Well today I was not feeling 100% but it was Birthdays, and Birthdays equal CAKE!!!! It was the lovely Beryl and lovely |Merillia's Birthday, and they both brought cake :)

Well back to sewing,

Lynda has been working very hard on her beautiful quilt, she is

just planning her boarder,

 



Jenny has been working on this fantastic table runner and as a

surprise it reversible !!!

 

 

Wow she has just got to quilt it now :)

Kate has been working on these lovely storage bags for her daughter :)

 

Merillia has been working on these very tricky little blocks, which look

fantastic!!

 

Wendy has found this beautiful fabric which she is planning to make a bag with!!

Maggie was doing some knitting then decided to get her

wonderful scrappy quilt out, I cant wait to see this finished!!

 

Chris is working on a William Morris pack, which we have seen before I think, this

is the 4th one created here!! Well it is beautiful!

 

Beryl is doing more triangles, I think these are her favourite!!

these will be added to another charity quilt ;)

 



 

Cathy has been making these lovely pillows to go with her fantastic

bargello quilt :) 

 

Barbra has made these lovely blocks and is going to turn them in to

a beautiful bag for a very lucky little girl :)

 

Barbra has also been working on this fantastic I Spy" type quilt for her grandson,

who isn't even here yet!! Lucky boy!!

 

 

And me well I've put the binding on my Linus quilt and

finished making the body for my doll, my poor dolly

has been sewn every which way today! finally she looks

like a doll, she is just waiting for some hair a face and a

frock!!

Red Nose Update

Well our last total was a fantastic £430 for Red Nose Day, then we had a anonymous donation of £11! which made our grand total £441! Fantastic,

Holiday!

Well as you may have guessed I have been away for a while, the fantastic sewing session was closed over Easter on the 8TH and I was on holiday and been really busy and forgot to upload the photos form the 25th March! I know naughty me! well lets see what we were up to,

Aunty Beryl was crocheting some beautiful blankets for charity! :) 

 

 

Cathy has added her boarders to her beautiful bargello quilt

Wendy has made this lovely Linus quilt with these beautiful colours!

 

Erica joined us again with her beautiful grey and yellow quilt, which she is hand

quilting!!! 

 



Irene has been working on these lovely cat mats!!

 



 

Wendy has also been making these wonderful cushions, made from

some fabric which was kindly donated :)

 

Chris is finishing the binding on her grandson Berty's quilt :)

 

and me, I've been asked to make a rag doll, here she is so far
